Berry Oatmeal Bites

Ingredients

¼ cups ground almonds / almond flour (~¾ oz)

½ cups rolled oats (uncooked) (~1 ¾ oz)

2 tbsp protein powder (~⅔ oz)

¼ tsp baking soda

¼ cups applesauce (unsweetened) (~2 ¼ oz)

1 ½ tsp honey or agave syrup (~⅓ oz)

cups berries, any kind (frozen or fresh) (~2 ¼ oz)

optional: a tiny bit of salt

optional: ¾ tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix ground almonds with rolled oats, protein powder, baking soda and salt (a blender works well here).

In another bowl, mix applesauce, honey or agave and vanilla. Combine both mixes.

Pour half of the mixture into muffin tins or a baking form. Distribute the berries on top, then add the remaining mix.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until brown.
